Jun 6, 2022

Electra, the leader in ultra-fast charging of electric vehicles, has recruited some fifty experts in all key areas (technology, development, finance, operations, communication) to speed up the company's pace on this high potential market. Today we have hired a Chief Marketing Officer to go even further, to develop the Electra brand and our partnerships. Ivan de Quercize is a specialist in marketing in fast-growing environments, which he has particularly experienced at BlaBlacar. After graduating from ESSEC Business School, Ivan started his career in 2014 by producing a web series on collaborative economy.

He then joined BlaBlaCar, where he worked for 7 years and successively managed the marketing strategy on social networks, the CRM strategy, the launch of BlaBlaCar's bus business in Germany and the transformation of the Ouibus operations (post acquisition from SNCF). He then took on the role of Head of marketing strategy & analytics to manage BlaBlaCar's marketing strategy in all its countries (FR, ES, DE, PL, RU, UA, BR) and on the carpooling and bus businesses.

In parallel to his evolution at BlaBlaCar, Ivan launched his Family Office through which he invested in more than 70 start-ups and investment funds with a strong focus on companies with a positive impact on climate change.

Aurélien de Meaux, CEO of Electra said: “We are thrilled to be joined by Ivan, who has an extensive background in customer marketing in the mobility sector. His experience in the world of high-impact start-ups is also a key asset for us to move forward quickly and far.”
